Group class for Homestyle Cantonese Cooking


Cantonese cooking has shaped our Western understanding of Chinese cuisine, but it’s a lot more than just dim sum. Considered one of the most finely developed cuisines in Asia, Cantonese cooking exhibits the Chinese understanding of resourcefulness of ingredients, subtlety of flavor, and a deft facility with steaming and frying techniques.

Our program will introduce students to ingredient selection and preparation, essential terms of the Cantonese kitchen, and the preparation of a few signature dishes. Students will come hungry and leave with invaluable recipes to add to their culinary arsenal.
